Not sure you can sing that song in Huddersfield, but our two doubles supremos have just done that by winning the Calderdale over 40's doubles tournament on Sunday in Mirfield. Many congratulations to Steve Yates and Paul Bloomfield who managed to dodge the showers and win 6-4 6-2 to achieve an outstanding victory.
I suppose if we cannot win any leagues this year we can still put up a good show in the Calderdale tournaments!
They have not finished there either, they are in the over 50's final as well on September 13th and we wish them every success in that competition to bring home more silverware!
Do either of them look older than 25! It must be something in those bottles!
